Labelling for the UK market
Labels must be in English. The UK Responsible Person's name and UK address, nominal content, batch number, ingredient list in INCI order and any required warnings all appear on the pack. Because the RP address is printed on the label, the RP has to be settled before artwork is finalised — changing it later means reprinting.
Fragrance directions that travel well in the UK
British retail leans towards fresh, clean and citrus-led profiles for daily wear, with gourmand and warm-spicy doing well in gifting seasons. High-street and online-first brands often want a tight range — two or three scents — rather than a broad launch collection.
Shipping from Istanbul to the UK
Road freight through Europe and sea freight to UK ports are both routine from Istanbul. Minimum quantities and timeline
Minimum order quantities apply per single fragrance and single bottle model: perfume 1,000 units, cologne 1,000 in glass or 2,000 in plastic bottles, car fragrance 2,000, reed diffusers 1,000, room sprays 500, roll-on 1,000, scented candles 500. The quantity cannot be split. The quantity cannot be split; two fragrances or two bottle models mean two separate minimums, and the same applies to bottles: three different bottle models mean 1,000 units each (3,000 in total).
Production takes approximately 4–6 weeks after you approve the fragrance, bottle, packaging and label. Sampling happens before that window and depends mainly on your response time; custom fragrance development or a custom bottle mould extends the schedule. Registration in the United Kingdom runs in parallel and is handled by your side.
Frequently asked questions — UK
Do I need a UK Responsible Person even if I only sell online?
Yes. The requirement attaches to placing the product on the GB market, not to the sales channel. An online-only brand still needs a UK RP and a UK address on the label.
Is my existing CPNP notification valid in the UK?
No. GB products require a separate SCPN notification. If you also sell into Northern Ireland, that side follows EU rules and needs CPNP.
What is the minimum order quantity?

How long does production take?
